A Bathroom Oasis with Coastal Breeze Fish Scales

A Bathroom Oasis with Coastal Breeze Fish Scales

It may be the middle of winter, but this bathroom feels more like a tropical oasis. With a stunning shower accent wall that's as eye-catching as can be, this tile install achieves the wow-factor while only using one glaze color: 214 Coastal Breeze. This cool and beachy hue matches perfectly with our signature shape: Moroccan Fish Scales. The rest of the bathroom is gorgeously decorated by the talented Marceau Interiors for a final look that's both polished and laid-back.

The Shower:

In order to let an accent wall pop like this one does, make sure that the rest of the space is mostly neutral with plenty of whites. The adjacent wall uses plain white, commercially made subway tile with a useful niche for shower products. We think the contrast between the two tile shapes and textures only amplifies the beautiful detail of our artisan tile. The silver accents lend themselves to the clean and modern look of the rest of the bathroom. One of our favorite parts of this shower? The glass door and wall. If you're going to make a beautiful shower, we think you better show it off! (No more hiding behind a shower curtain, okay?)

The Tile Details:

We talked a bit about the subway tile, but how great is this floor covered in pebble-inspired tile? Perfect for the coastal look. Again, we think the contrast only lets that teal accent wall shine brighter. One of our absolute favorite details are the Pencil Liners along the side. They provide a clean and sophisticated transition to the wall. They also work great with shower niches, floor transitions, stove splashes, and windows. As mentioned before, we only used one shape and one glaze color. So we consider this a "standard project", which is one of the most affordable and quickest options with our tile! It's even available to ship directly to your door on easy-to-install mesh sheets. Get more details on the project page: Large Moroccan Fish Scales - 214 Coastal Breeze. The Decor:

Nothing makes us happier than a room decorated to complement the final tile installation. For this bathroom, the wallpaper is absolute perfection! Moroccan Fish Scales matched with a stunning fish print wallpaper? We are in awe. We're also loving the complementary color of pink splashed around the room in light pops. From the towel, to the poof, to the little vanity knobs - there's the perfect amount of contrast while maintaining an air of sophistication. So much to love with this bathroom...such a great mixture of posh and coastal.

Your tiles are always awesome. We are going to do the kitchen backsplash by the cooktop in the fish scales design but in a slightly different color. I love this bathroom oasis and I love the fish wallpaper. That is really unusual. Can you tell me where I can get that??
