Diamond Tile Small, Medium, Large

Diamond Tile Small, Medium, Large

Diamonds may be a girl’s best friend, but our diamonds can be everyone’s best friend! This bold tile shape is gaining ground in the design world and with good reason. With so many shapes and sizes of tile out there, it's hard to know exactly what to pick. We're here to help narrow it down. Our Diamond tile comes in three sizes: small, medium, large. They also come in three patterns with endless color possibilities. Here's the scoop on this magical shape...

Pick your Poison

1. Pick your tile size. When it comes to our Diamond collection, size matters. These tiles are ¼” thick and come in three sizes that each serves a specific purpose. The size of tile that you choose not only influences the style of the room but the cost of your overall project.

2. Decide whether or not you want your tiles mesh-mounted. In order to ensure a smooth installation, we typically mesh mount our standard Diamonds for all three sizes unless instructed otherwise. This will save your installer the headache of laying out tile by tile.

3. Choose a layout. Diamonds can be laid out in three patterns: Chevron, Argyle, or Cube. While the Cube pattern is the most popular, the other two can be just as exciting in the right setting.

4. Pick your colors. With over 130 glaze colors to choose from, the options are endless. Getting creative with color is what we do best. We'll help you decide if a random mix, a pop of color, a feathered ombre or something in between is best for your space.

Small Diamonds

Small Diamonds are ideal for small spaces for two reasons. First, if you choose too large of a tile for your small space, chances are you won't be able to make the statement you want. If you choose a smaller size, you have more freedom to play with different patterns and colors. Second, creating a pattern with a smaller shape will open up the room and make it appear larger.

For instance, this Barker Freeman backsplash covers just 17 sq ft of space. Choosing small diamonds allows for an eye-catching, repetitive monochrome star pattern. Had he chosen a larger sized tile, the statement of this backsplash would have been much less dramatic.

Medium Diamonds

Given there is enough space, Medium Diamonds provide the most creative freedom with designs. They can create feathering ombres, beautiful waves, and everything in between. Their sleek lines allow for movement which no other tile shape can compete with.

Stemming from one of our project with the incredible Construction2Style, one of our new favorite ways to use Medium Diamonds is to create a "wave" effect that feathers outwards from dark to light.

After many trials, we have this custom gradient down to a science so much so that we can now offer the look in our standard sheets. Based on your square footage needs, we will create easy-to-install interlocking sheets so you can get the custom look without spending the custom-look dollars.

Medium Diamonds with a Twist

Since Medium Diamonds are so versatile, we've been experimenting with mixing them with different shapes to create unbeatable patterns. Now available on our website due to popular demand is our Large Hexagon and Medium Diamond pattern.

This trendy look combines our Large Hexagons and Medium Diamonds to create a one-of-a-kind pattern using an artistic placement of approximately 80% Hexagons and an accent of 20% Diamonds.

Large Diamonds

Large Diamonds are almost two times the size of Small Diamonds. These big beauties are approximately the length of a pencil. Given their size, they are the most cost efficient Diamond shape starting at $49 per square foot. We recommend using Large Diamonds for spaces with a lot of surface area such as a floor or statement wall.
