The property is a historical landmark, so the new architecture now creates an impression of the passage of time which is enhanced by the use of shingles in this new construction. The architecture looks like it has been there all along. The exterior conveys a sense of the house as continuous volume.
East Coast Nautical
Classic east coast shingle-style set the tone for the interior and exterior bones of this nautical home. Perfect for summer getaways and just a ferry ride from shops and restaurants downtown.
Design Concept
Bringing the waterfront aesthetic inside, a custom blend of our Large Moroccan Fish Scales was chosen to adorn the fireplace. Hues reminiscent of the rocky coastal shores were pulled together to create a soft, contemporary resting place. The goal was to curate a color palette that emulated scenic beaches and vista points
