We're extremely excited to share a home that is filled to the brim with our tile. For the past year we have been working with our friend, Lesley Farmer, to cover 6 areas of her house with our handmade tile! With the incredible craftsmanship and installations of Kinetic Design Build, the result was stunning. It called for a full day of our team playing in her house and taking pictures of her beautifully remodeled Mid-Century Modern home. Everything in her house is absolutely gorgeous and we are so happy to have our tile be such a big part of it.
1. Subway Tile Kitchen Island
There's no such thing as too much counter space! Kitchen islands are often a practical choice - make them a beautiful choice by tiling the sides for extra drama. We adore the pop of color that our Bluegrass Subway Tile brings to this light and bright kitchen. The white wood border adds a subtle Modern Farmhouse vibe.

2. Mudroom Floor Tile
Just because it's called a mudroom doesn't mean it can't be a clean and sophisticated part of your house! Enter your home in style with an organized space to store your shoes, jackets, and outdoor items. We like using ceramic mid-century tile for mudroom flooring because of it's durability and how easy it is to maintain and clean.

Large Hexagons - 1673 Espresso.
3. White Subway Tile Kitchen Backsplash
Simple doesn't have to mean boring when you're using our 130 White glaze color! This is a high variation glaze meaning each tile has a unique hue based on the different glaze applications. We like the simple contrast of horizontal subway tile with the stove-splash in a herringbone pattern.
3"x8", 2"x6" Subway Tile & Pencil Liners - 130 White.
4. Ombre Moroccan Fish Scale Shower
It wouldn't be our kind of tile home without some Moroccan Fish Scales! For this shower we installed a simple neutral ombre in the beloved scalloped shape. Both interesting and approachable, this project is perfect for anyone's shower.
Large Moroccan Fish Scales - 815W Light Grey, 60 Silver Lining, 77E Grey, 130 White, 11 Deco White.
5. Tiled Home Bar
Who else wants to come home after a long day to this beautiful home bar? The warm Craftsman-inspired tile wall is a lovely backdrop to organize your bottles and glasses. As always, we encourage open shelving to get the most out of your tile!

6. Hexagon Entry Floor Tile
Step into the house in style with ceramic floor tile. Say goodbye to a raggedy rug and hello to a clean and beautiful entrance. In this home we created two different ways to transition from tile to wood: one with a straight line of schluter, the other with an organic edge. Taking special care to the finishing details of your tile will perfect your look and leave a lasting first impression to guests who step into your home.
