Tile Trend: Modern Scandinavian Diamonds

Scandinavian design emerged from the climate and culture of the countries that make up Scandinavia. The Nordic palette includes neutral colors and clean lines that reflect its natural landscape. Our Diamond Tile is an obvious choice to illustrate this design aesthetic. Through simplistic colors and geometric grout lines, here we highlight some of our most successful mid-century modern installations.

The Diamond

The Diamond shape derives from, you guessed it, the precious gemstone, the diamond. This paired down 2-dimensional shape has been used throughout history in varying patterns and styles. Here we showcase the cube pattern, one of our most popular designs. This geometric pattern provides depth and dimension, while allowing flexibility across color and feel.

White Diamond Backsplash

Using white is always trendy in interior design. It offers a clean palette to showcase multiple elements in a room. By using all white tile, the emphasis is put on the subtle design rather than the color. Here you can see the texture our Cube Pattern  Diamonds adds to this kitchen remodel. The dark wood and chrome fixtures complete this bold and modern kitchen.

Chevron Diamonds

This chic and modern shower utilizes the clean simplicity of chevron-style diamonds. Again, using all white plays to the natural pattern of the diamonds, showcasing the clean lines. This minimalist look is the perfect nod to modern Scandinavian design.

Two-Toned White Diamonds

Another way is to diversify our Diamond Tiles is to use two different tones of white to create a subtle pattern. Here you see a slightly darker white in a radial pattern of diamonds. The monochrome look is great for adding visual interest and creating a diamond tile pattern that people will remember.
