Looking back on this past year, we are blown away by all the inspiring projects we’ve had the pleasure of working on – big thanks to everyone who has been a part of it! Not only did we open our new tile factory, but our team of talented Tile Elves continues to grow in order to keep up with all the awesome projects that our clients have dreamed up! That being said – we can’t wait to start another year of #tileworlddomination. Now is the best time to dream up your own tile goals! We have gathered some creative and elegant backsplash ideas to prep your home for the new year.

We love this modern stove-splash project that we created, such a beautiful pop of interest among a clean and classic kitchen.

When in doubt, go neutral. Our tile will last your lifetime, so neutral tile will work throughout multiple home updates and styles. This fireplace that we created is the perfect example of how neutral doesn’t have to mean boring. This client was inspired and chose their palette based on the landscape around their luxury lake home; the subtle color variation is beautiful.
3. Create a Unique Bathroom Backsplash
Bathroom renovations are one of the most popular home projects. A bathroom is a great place to have a bit of extra fun with your design. Start the day off on the right foot with a more playful aesthetic. Who wouldn’t want to get ready in this bathroom? It has a variety of sweet Moroccan crosses with texture…and a fish tank!4. Make Small & Easy Tile Accents

There are so many creative backsplash ideas that make a small amount of tile to go a long way. From contrasting built ins, accents on walls, kitchen islands, and tables, a little extra tile can make a cool tile statement. In this instance, our client Van Leeuwen Ice Cream used the same tile from their counter on a small side table. This is an easy way to make your tile a cohesive design element for your space.
5. Cool Contemporary Tiled Kitchen
Learn why people are in love with herringbone.
We’ve seen a few elegant backsplash ideas used in kitchens lately. Our favorites include contrasting grout, simple but bold patterns, with clean and light tile colors. We love this neutral herringbone option. It’s simple, but stands out!
