In addition to setting goals for the new year we're reflecting on the past year's successes. We've been considering what worked well and making a list of our favorite projects. This made us think about how grateful we are for our design collaborations. On top of our awesome clients, we have special projects with businesses and interior designers where we work together to create installations that fuse together our goals with theirs. From the concept phase, to installation, to photography - here's a recap of our favorite tile design collaborations from 2018.
Throughout the years, we've worked on multiple projects with our friends Jamie and Morgan from construction2style. This local renovation and styling duo know how to make our tile design collaborations look good. This year we created an unforgettable project together during their very own kitchen remodel. This custom statement wall is a stunner that shows off the fun and modern style of the homeowners.

2. Cocoon Salon
As if our founder Mercedes wasn't already surrounded by tile enough, we tiled the backsplash of her go-to salon. Cocoon Salon has a minimalist aesthetic - the entire space is bright white with crisp lines and natural lighting. We wanted to do something unique while remaining sophisticated. This bubble backsplash has an organic transition into subway tile, creating a beautiful and subtle focal point.

3. Pencil Shavings Studio
This jaw-dropping bright blue bathroom is nothing short of perfection. The brilliant color juxtaposed with the retro hexagon floor pattern gives this bathroom a posh take on a classic look. Best of all, this look is easily achieved and can be purchased in our online shop!

4. Bari J
Maximalism at it's finest. Bari J. is a visual mastermind whose work includes fabric, stationery, wallpaper, and home decor. A dream to work with, she understands the importance of attention to detail. For this design collaboration project we used standard tile, but the result is anything but basic. The deep bluegrass color mixed with Bari's amazing styling talent makes this project a bohemian chic dream.

5. Timber & Tulip
Timber & Tulip is a local furniture designer we met while dreaming up our new conference room. Our founder wanted a custom conference room table from this local design gem. Also founded with a deep love for the detail and variation of handmade craft, we think our products look beautiful together. For this project we created a custom tiled floor for their new headquarters, creating a tropical Mid-Century look that is unforgettable.

6. Wit & Delight
We couldn't have been more flattered to be a part of Wit & Delight's bathroom remodel partnership with Delta. Like everything they do, this project was refined, airy, and contemporary. A simple subway shower never looked so good.

7. Steller Hair Co.We fell in love with the owner of the salon, Katie Steller, after discovering her #stellerkindnessproject. For this initiative she's calling out people's often unnoticed acts of kindness to spread positivity. We're happy to spread some kindness with her by tiling welcoming words into her salon backsplash.
8. Leslie Farmer
Our dear friend Leslie helped us set up our new factory. In return we covered her home with six tile installations. Fall in love with her Mid-Century Modern look and explore different areas to tile in the home.
