Restaurant kitchen projects are often some of the most creative tile concepts we get to make. Kenji’s Teriyaki Grill was no exception. This orange and grey Moroccan Fish Scale counter project was the perfect design element to tie together the look of their restaurant. How could you not love Moroccan Fish Scales next to the giant wall art of koi fish?!
Their Tile Dream:
In our commercial projects our goal is to bring the company’s aesthetic to life – just like our residential projects where we try to bring out our client’s personality through the tile! For this project, we included monochromatic neutrals and oranges to mirror the restaurant’s logo. Of course, we needed to use Fish Scales in a Teriyaki Grill!
65R Amber, 65W Amber, 1950W Indian Summer, 1023 Butter Toffee, 912W Cloudy Sky, 11 Deco White, 77E Gray, 130 White, 815W Light Grey, 39 London Fog.
The Creative Counter Idea:
For our larger projects, we design mock-ups so that you can see what your tile will look like once installed. We find that this helps clients make creative decisions and plan ahead by making additional décor ideas to match their renovation.
The Final Tiled Kitchen:
After a few tweaks to the mock-up and décor, the restaurant was open for business! We love when the entire space works with the tile installation. Now their interior design looks as good as their food tastes!
