This playful project in Kansas City, Missouri uses multiple custom design elements. From the drop shadow to the diagonal grout lines, to the fishscale background- here we can really show off our abilities to deliver a truly custom work of art. This curvy font took careful planning, but its unique effect stands out. Learn more about this statement wall with our blog: A Slice of Tile Heaven at Pinsa Pizza.

Using a classic helvetica font, the mosaic lettering for The Lynhall in uptown Minneapolis, is a clean and simple look. We chose 1x1's, reminiscent of NYC subway lettering, to give a cosmopolitan feel to this market-inspired restaurant. For projects like this, we offer an outdoor clay option to ensure the tile installation will stay beautiful throughout any harsh outdoor conditions.

For the Crosby Hotel in downtown Stillwater, Minnesota we combined a pixillated ombré landscape with custom-cut lettering to create an accurate mapping of the Minnesota/Wisconsin border. Each bridge is also customized to depict each crossing of the St. Croix River. The result is an impressive portrayal of our region, where classic meets modern in this stunning work of art.
Here we used a Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired font to achieve this romantic and modern look. The clean hexagonal background tile give this mosaic a graphic look, which allows the lettering to pop.

Another highly-designed custom lettering project, this wall mosaic was just as inspiring to make as the message itself. We used a sleek font with architectural appeal, along with staggered 1x1's for the background, to achieve a highly graphic and stately installation.

For Steller Hair Company we chose a monochrome metallic color scheme for the lettering and surrounding tile to give the installation a strong impression, without distracting from the overall design. Learn more about this heart-felt project on our blog, Steller Backsplash Full of Personality.

Here at Mercury Mosaics, we especially love it when our art can imitate our love for donuts! For Mojo Monkey Donuts in St. Paul, Minnesota we wanted to combine one of our signature tile shapes, Bubbles, with this custom lettering, to not only emulate the shape of donuts, but to give this shop a signature look.
Eastlake Brewery in Minneapolis wanted a clean, graphic look behind their taps. By using a "window blind" effect on the lettering we created a strong horizontal line that moves the eye across their logo. Sometimes simplicity is just what the doctor(or brewmaster) ordered.
