We created this blog to show you the range of pricing options with our tile. We have four general tiers of backsplash cost based on the complexity of the installation. Whether you want to go "all out" or just add a splash of artisan tile to your home, we're happy to be a part of your tile journey!
Before exploring projects and their pricing, there are two factors to keep in mind while considering prices:
Size & Shape Matter
Every piece of tile is hand-cut, glazed, fired, and shipped from our factory. Most are assembled onto mesh sheets for ease of install. Some tile shapes take more time to make than others. For example, Bubbles are more expensive than Subway Tile, primarily because they take more tile elf hours to make each square foot. Everything is made by hand, the smaller the tile - the more time it takes to make, the higher the cost per square foot.

Consider the Pattern
One way to consider the price of your tile is by finding out if it's "standard" or "custom." The easiest way to figure this out is by asking yourself if your pattern can be repeated in a square foot of tile. If yes, it's standard, if not, it's custom. Many clients think their project is custom when it is not!

Here are our four general pricing tiers for our handmade tile. Please note that all of these project budgets are based on our pricing as of Winter 2018.
1. Standard (Accent)
Using an accent with our standard tile is an excellent way to add a splash of tile to your home on a budget. These little details make all the difference in a home, and our beautiful glaze options will let your little accent shine. To be considered standard tile, the pattern must be repeatable on a square foot of mesh sheeting - but this doesn't mean it has to be boring. Check out how intricate our standard Mod Mosaics look.

Our custom Made-to-Order tile are projects that we consider simple customizations. From ombre to glazing organic edging of the tile to simple shapes with unique patterning. These projects require reaching out to our sales team, but the added customization backsplash costs may be lower than you'd imagine!
