This week we’re spotlighting the Leung family, who worked in partnership with Fox Homes to renovate their mid-century modern home. (Fun fact: The project was featured on HGTV’s Stay or Sell.) After narrowing down a color palette of blues, greens and yellows, Fox Homes connected with Mercury Mosaics to source our handmade tile for the home’s bath and kitchen.
En Suite Bath
The floor in the ensuite bathroom consists of our geo-hex pattern in Blue Opal. A soft, powder blue with a touch of green, the Blue Opal finish brought the home’s color palette to life in the bathroom in a subtle, sophisticated way. To complement the floor, the shower niche uses the same shade of blue tile but utilizes the medium diamonds pattern to change things up.

Hall Bath
Vermont Pine, a popular green glaze, is accented with custom colors to add a spectrum of green - and a serious pop of color - to the hall bath (if you’re also a fan of green, check out more of our most popular green tile glazes here). The green subway tile is combined with marble to create a timeless yet modern bathroom. The stacked subway tile pattern also creates the illusion of a larger space, and appears delicate yet sleek.

Kitchen
The kitchen backsplash honors the home’s modern style by featuring our medium diamond tile in a custom layout that consists of White, Deco White, and Grey. By playing with different shades of gray and white tile, we’re able to add a subtle amount of depth to the kitchen space.
