Sometimes less is more, at least that’s what we think about black & white tile. Staying simple with this two-tone option will make a dramatic statement while continuing to look good as color trends come and go. Here are five unique ways to use black and white tile in your home
1. Black and White Ombre
A vertical wall of tile is a great place to play with an ombre concept. This gradient look is extremely popular with our clients, and can be used with a variety of our tile shapes. Here we used black and white ombre for a shower wall with our Hexagon shape.
2. Satin Black
A matte tile finish contrasting with the shiny pots and pans of a kitchen can make a sophisticated and unique look. Here we used our Satin Black Moroccan Fish Scales. We love the contrast with the light grout and glossy white countertop. This look allows your accents to really pop!
3. Satin & Glossy
Alternating satin black and glossy black is a sure to catch the eye of visitors. The subtle contrast adds a unique level of dimensionality and texture to your back splash. For this example we used our Medium Diamond Tiles in 366 Satin Black and 613 Black.
White Tile & Black Grout
One of the biggest trends this year has been to let the grout stand out! Your grout choice makes a huge difference on how your tile looks. We love the contrast of black grout against this white tile. It creates a beautiful and timeless look.
5. Custom Design
Create a show stopping layout by making your own pattern. Having a custom tile pattern is a great way to make a house feel like a home. Leave your unique footprint in your house based on what inspires you! For this design, we repeated a black floral shape with Hexagons.
