5 Ways to Implement A Pop of Warmth With Tile

5 Ways to Implement A Pop of Warmth With Tile

One of our favorite ways to add an extra level of dimension to your project is by adding a pop of warmth! We've seen clients flawlessly execute this design time and time again so we thought we'd share some of our favorite spaces. Here are 5 ways to perfectly implement the touch of warmth trend with handmade tile.

1. Gregory's Branded Blend

Sometimes the stars just align and that was definitely the case with Gregory Zamfotis of Gregorys Coffee. This family-run business was founded in 2006 with an uncompromising spirit of aiming high and never settling. They innovate endlessly to embody quality on all fronts which is something we can totally get behind.

This Gregorys Coffee in Deer Park is totally tiled out and filled with branded charm. Gregory trusted our team with their brand colors to create a blend that was perfect for his up-and-coming coffee shop. We adore the sleek black island with pops of yellow that transitions flawlessly to the contrasted backsplash. These small but mighty splashes of warmth are the perfect example of how warm hues can completely bring together a space.

2. Foxwell Blend

Up next is another branded blend for our friends at Fox Homes. This perfect palette of cool hues and pops of warmth hit the ball out of the park. So much so that we had to name it after it's location at their Foxwell Shoppe. They worked with our designers to come up with this cozy Scandinavian inspired blend to match the personality of their curated local home goods store. This blend is special because it shows how two pops of warmth can add even more dimension to a design than just one. Anyone dare to try three?!

3. Just A Few Will Do

The simplistic beauty of this sink-splash puts a grin on our faces every time we stumble across it. Designer, Emily Pueringer, took inspiration from our signature Eichler Blend and transformed the original large scale project into just a touch of whimsy. This playful yet classy kitchen shows the power that just four pops of our Dandelion glaze can add to a space.

4. Geo-Hex Glory

This newly styled and photographed Mid-Century Modern kitchen is a total dream come true. The natural elements of the gorgeous woodwork pairs perfectly with the pops of warmth in the tile design. Typically MCM kitchens are brightly colored with lime greens, electric oranges or mustard yellows but we adore this new take on the trend. Opting for fun pattern and a pop of warmth is the new and improved way to do Mid-Century Modern in the kitchen.

5. Colorful Craftsman Floor

One of our favorite parts of this project with the amazing Brownstone Boys was locking down the perfect blend. For this particular project, the homeowners were inspired from their travels to Italy and wanted the palette to have a Tuscan feel. We played with a variety of glaze colors including Tuscan deep reds, golds, olive greens, and ochres but landed on one custom blend that we just couldn't resist. This traditional pattern paired with a pop of warmth gives a whole new level of chicness to the classic craftsman look.
