An Artful Take on Tile
The homeowner of this kitchen, Jeanne, has style. Her condo is sleek and modern with adornments of original paintings, a shiny black grand piano, and pops of bright red decor. Her appreciation for handmade items drew her to our tile for her kitchen project. Our artisan process of creating the tile from start to finish was the perfect fit for her sleek home filled with art.
We love the way this one turned out. The beautiful contrast of matte-glazed to the shiny-glazed tile for the contrasting "river." The way that the tile floats effortlessly from the stove hood across the backsplash for movement. The way the granite countertops reflect the tile in this light-filled space. Every detail was executed perfectly, just like the rest of Jeanne's home.

How to Add Custom Tile to Your Home
When starting a custom project with us, you'll talk with someone from our sales team who will help you transform your dream into a reality! Your plan doesn't need to be completely ironed out, because we love working together to find something that fits perfectly in your home. Of course, once we got to know Jeanne, we knew she needed something with personality that also matched her modern style. For her custom river of contrasting tiles we designed based on the existing dimensions of the kitchen, for an install that truly belongs in the space.
We know that a backsplash like this looks like an intimidating process to design and install, but we've been doing this for over 15 years and have simplified the process to make artisan tile possible for your home too. Once we receive measurements of your backsplash, we'll mock-up the unique layout for you to approve. After we get all of the tile created in our factory, our layout team glues the whole project onto mesh sheeting. Once it's dry, they cut them into easy to install sheets along with a numbering system, so something this custom is just as easy to install as any other project!
