Go Bold with Uniquely Colored Subway Tile

Go Bold with Uniquely Colored Subway Tile

Playing it safe when choosing your color scheme can be a smart and conservative way to ensure the resale of your home goes off without a hitch. However, if you’re planning on staying awhile there’s no reason not to embrace your own style and have some fun with color. Read on to explore some of our favorite, albeit more adventurous, Subway Tile installations.

1. Cobalt Blue

This bold and saturated deep blue is the perfect accent to a clean and modern kitchen. These staggered 3″x6″s pair perfectly with the warm wooden open shelving and sleek white appliances. While not the most daring color choice, Cobalt Blue Subway Tile is an excellent choice if you are looking to add color to your design.

2. Grapefruit Pink

If you are really looking to think outside of the box, our Grapefruit glaze may the perfect pink for you. Not usually seen as a typical color choice for tile, this light pink hue is a soft and pleasing option for an accent wall, stove splash, laundry room, or even a bathroom floor.

3. Coastal Breeze

Choosing a pastel color with high variation may be another way to safely bring color into your home. This pale blueish-green glaze has a rustic quality that prevents it from being over-the-top. And, again, the high variation adds a textural quality that adds dimension and character.

4. Burnt Sugar

Bold colors don’t always have to be loud. Here, we have a warm and earthy brown with a high gloss finish and high variation that adds a richness to this retro-looking space. It is the perfect color to offset the olive green cabinets and blond open-shelving.

5. Emerald Greens

Using color as an accent is the perfect way to balance the bold with the tame. These oblong stacked 2x6’s give a rich pop of color to the marble tile and copper shower head. Notice the small accents of our unique custom Peacock Green glaze that have random flecks of color, giving off an animalistic vibe to this design.

6. Mint Julep

Pairing a unique color with wallpaper is another way to tie in a bolder color choice into your space. This commercial space is large enough to handle an entire wall of minty tile, and the botanical wallpaper in the foreground offsets it perfectly.
