11 Ways to Incorporate Tile Accents

Adding decorative tile accents to your next project is a great way to add personality to a space. Whether it's your home you're remodeling or adding a focal feature to your Instagram-worthy commercial space, we have a variety of examples for you, from small pops of tile to large custom accents. We hope these ideas inspire you to move into spring with bold and beautiful design.

Here are 11 ways to incorporate decorative tile accents:

1. Shower niches.

A shower niche is a great way to keep your shower looking clean and organized. Not only does it create a visual focal point to your handmade tile, it's also a beautiful option to store your shower accessories. Read our blog on 4 Shower Niche Ideas for more concepts!

2. Fireplace hearths.

The hearth is the section that sits in front of your fireplace on the floor, and it's the perfect spot to personalize your space with a tile accent. This is a fun area to play with all of our pattern and color variations. We adore this modern rustic example where we created a custom trout mosaic to build off of the sophisticated cabin theme.

3. Shower feature walls.

If you want bold color but aren't ready to completely cover a space in bright hues, creating a feature wall is a great solution. For this option, we love surrounding the shower in a neutral subway tile with the feature wall in one of our many radiant glaze hues. The juxtaposition of these shower tile accents creates a strong contrast, that can be toned up or down depending on your style.
