Sales Assistant

Starting compensation: $15-$17/hour depending on experience 

Remote eligibility after 90 days in-person training, Full time: 32-40 hours/week

Sales Assistant Job Summary

Sales Assistants’ primary responsibility is to follow up with clients (leads) who have already engaged with Mercury Mosaics via a sample purchase, completed website form, etc. The goal is to nurture their interest and provide them with material and information, in order to turn them over to the sales team. We strive for each client to have a 5-star experience while learning about our tile. On the job training is provided. 


• Utilizing email and our website live chat feature to assist clients.
• Answers inquiries from clients concerning products, their uses, and the industry at large.
• Virtual client consultations.
• Create customized mood boards for clients.
• Manages digital client records.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

 • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in navigating a computer and software.  
• Excellent time management.
• Ability to compile, analyze, and communicate data.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.


 • High School Diploma or equivalent

• 1 year experience in customer service or sales

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
