Who you are:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Support Specialist in the Twin Cities Metro area to help support our thriving Sales Team. The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing all sales support and showroom operations, including lead management, client event planning and general office manager responsibilities. This person will play a key role as the backbone of sales team success and curator of MM’s Design Studio. This is an opening to an awesome career working alongside a great team with a well-known and respected brand.

This is a full-time, non-exempt, in-person role, working Mon- Fri from our gorgeous design studio in the Northeast Arts District. What you’ll do:

  • Interact with clients via telephone, email, online chat and in person to provide support and information on MM products and services.
  • Lead management including screening, tracking and assigning leads to sales team.
  • Commission reconciliation for Sales Account Managers.
  • Schedule showroom and virtual appts for clients and account managers.
  • Liaison between sales team and the rest of the organization.
  • Maintain record of all client inquiries, and communications.
  • Manage the MM general phone, online chat and inbox.
  • Manage Design Studio inventory, purchasing and events calendar.
  • Client Event coordination and set-up.
  • Stand in for sales account managers as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of Design Studio.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What you’ll have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ year‚Äôs experience in customer service or sales.
  • Results-oriented, strong sense of prioritization and manage with a sense of urgency.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and effectively communicate with both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to take initiative and create a culture of accountability.
  • Exceptionally organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in navigating CRM software platforms.
  • Proficient with math skills and navigating spreadsheets.
  • Ability to review and communicate client records.
  • Periodically be present outside of work hours for client events.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
