What is Wainscoting Tile?
Wainscoting is a method of wall protection using tile that has been used by builders, designers, and homeowners for centuries. Wainscoting uses subway tile to typically cover the bottom half of a wall, compared to other types of tile application which can be used from floor to ceiling. Using a trim piece at the base and top of the wainscot tiled area will complete the look and pull everything together.

Why use Wainscoting in the bathroom?
The bathroom is a great place to use the wainscoting tile application because of the waterproof and decorative elements. The tile creates a tight, water-sealed seam which can be used around the room, including near a bathtub or shower. Not only is this method of wall protection functional, it's charming too!
